Programs
Northland CARE/MetroCARE, a volunteer network of private physicians who provide both primary care and specialty care services for our uninsured residents within physicians own offices. Specialty care services are provided in partnership with the Metropolitan Medical Society of Greater Kansas City. Northland Care’s referral system ensures that providers are asked to accept only the number of patients they have agreed to see. Referrals rotate among the providers to maintain a balanced distribution of patients. To date over 460 physicians are partners in NC/MC. For eligibility call 816-880-6700.

Prenatal and delivery for uninsured women through Heartland Women’s Health Care. Women who meet financial and medical guidelines are provided with prenatal care and delivery.

Northland HealthCare Access and the Clay County Public Health Center in partnership with North Kansas City School District opened a new Family Medical Clinic at Crestview Elementary School August 25, 2008. Call 816-413-4708 for information on Clinic hours. This clinic is now run by Samuel U. Rodgers Northland Health Center. Services are for students, their families and members of the community who are uninsured or who have certain Medicaid Coverage.
